According to The Free Dictionary, Physical Science is, by definition, any of the sciences, such as physics, chemistry, astronomy, and geology, that analyze the nature and properties of energy and nonliving matter. Physical Science will not be taught again in Georgia Middle Schools until 2007. The Physical Science portion of this website is intended to provide teachers and students resources for teaching and understanding the concepts and principals that drive scientists around the world on a regular basis.
