Bio:

Jimmy started his career in education as a high school math teacher in Valdosta, Georgia.  He then moved to Augusta and continued teaching high school math, teaching everything from basic level math to AP Calculus.  Jimmy also served three years as the mathematics department chair before leaving the classroom to become a state Instructional Technology Specialist at one of thirteen GaDOE Educational Technology Training Centers (ETTC) located around the state.  He is currently the Director of the ETTC housed at the National Science Center in Augusta, Georgia where he has continued to work to help systems, schools, administrators, and teachers infuse technology into the teaching and learning process.  Jimmy’s philosophy is simple:  technology can improve instruction, engage students, and accelerate student achievement.

"If I can't learn the way you teach, then teach the way I learn."  Anonymous
