we are: The Educational Technology Training
Center in Augusta, Georgia is a collaborative effort between
the National Science Center's Fort Discovery and the Georgia
Department of Education. We provide training for educators
on the principles of integrating technology into the
curriculum. We help educators understand the new styles of
teaching and learning enabled by technology. Our service
area consists of the school systems within Burke, Columbia,
Emanuel, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie,
Richmond, Taliaferro, Warren, and Wilkes County, CSRA RESA and Oconee RESA.

training for teachers, administrators, and support
personnel.

Jimmy Bostock - Director

Mr.
Jimmy Bostock, former high school math teacher and
math department chair brings a wide variety of
instructional and technical experience to the ETTC. Jimmy
will focus on graphing calculators, web
creation, graphic design, and video production, math
curriculum, and administrative technology.

Stephanie Milner - Instructional Technology Specialist

Stephanie's background is in high school language arts.
She has used 21st Century learning tools successfully with
her students. Stephanie will focus on Web 2.0 tools,
language arts curriculum, interactive whiteboards, and other
instructional technology tools.

Susan Watkins - Instructional Technology Specialist

Susan's background is in elementary education. She
has extensive experience in science and math. Susan is
a former eMath teacher. She will focus on digital
photography, science curriculum, interactive whiteboards,
and other instructional technology tools.

Tommy Matanane - Information Technology Specialist

Tommy is a
technical/network specialist that consults and
assists with School Systems and individual Schools on
Network and computer integration, management and maintenance
support. He has over 20 years of technical experience,
including a local school system. Tommy also assists
with School System
Technology Plans, and E-Rate.

Kathy Nobles - Office Manager

Kathy is our Office
Manager/SIS Consultant/AYP Consultant,
manages our office, and provides SIS and AYP
consultation for area school systems. She has
supported computer labs, conducted several staff development
sessions, attended conferences, and assisted
Redelivery Teams in InTech Redelivery.
